As the overarching purpose of my research is to affirm that humans have value, I feel it is appropriate to thus, humanise my work. In the beginning (and maybe throughout) my career, this table will probably always look bad. The rejection number will likely always outnumber the published number. However, that’s what it is to be human. To try, fail, and succeed.
This is what Accounting for Humanity looks like, it is never just about the “wins”, it is about everything that it took to get you there.
